What's going on guys? Last week while driving my check engine light came on along with the VSC off, VSC trac lights. I took it to Autozone and ran the codes.

C0205- left front wheel sensor malfunction.
    C1223- Malfunction antilock brake system.

I was told by the worker at Autozone that these were dealer codes? what exactly does that mean, and could anyone shed some light on this for me. As I am no professional mechanic I can usually tinker around and fix almost anything, or should I take it in? any guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have the exact same codes and lights on my 2007 4Runner. I see this was 2015 for you and wondered if you resolved it and how. My husband and I have tried as much as we can to resolve it without luck. Thanks!

If the code says left front wheel sensor malfunction, check that out first. Make sure it's connected, pull it out and make sure it's clean, follow the wiring to make sure there are no breaks or shorts.

Thank you. One dealer a year ago said they would replace the cats for $2500! Called them 1 yr later and they said the same thing. That was confusing to us given the codes say wheel sensor/abs. So...tried a second dealer who said they would start with the codes. I am going to cough up the darn $ to have them confirm if it is the sensor. They ‘look’ good to us but checking more than that is above our heads. Have it scheduled for next friday!
