Help Wanted - Backup Camera Hackery

    All, looking for some assistance on a unique situation I have with the backup camera on the used 2012 SR5 we recently purchased...

    The backstory is HERE, if your interested...

    I'm looking to verify that the 4 wires at the harness plug for the BU Camera (or at least where is should be) are indeed what is shown below:

    I ask because when I hook up a multi-meter to the Brown & Red or Black & White wires, turn the ignition to On/Accessory, put the truck in Reverse (with the e-break on) I get nothing. I'm expecting 6Vs as I understand this to be a 6V system, no?

    After cleaning up all the splices, I have bare wires, as shown below:

    Here is what the hackery looked like when I dug into it initially. Notice the 6-pin connector, yet only 4 wires were used. Wtf... I friggin HATE electrical work...
