Hi everyone, I just bought and received these new Dobinsons UCA's. The rubber bushings look a bit worn, so I was concerned about that. The distributors got back to me and said this is normal and that it is just, quote, "excess rubber over the metal sleeve that is vulcanized."

I'm probably overthinking this, but was just wondering if anyone cares to chime in with their opinion/experience on this....

    Cheers.

That's exactly what my thought was... someone installed, then changed their mind and returned/resold. Nonetheless, the wear just looks abnormal and I think I will bring them to the supplier store that had shipped them to me tomorrow to compare with another pair they apparently have.
