Hey everyone! I just purchased my new (used) 2016 4Runner SR5. I traded in my 2012 Equinox and upgraded to a more "sporty" / capable mom car haha! I previously drove a 4 in lifted 2000 Jeep Wrangler/33's and have been itching ever since to get back into an off road/adventurous vehicle.

Seems the previous owner put the black emblems on my SR5, or do some come that way? Also it has the TRD wheels.

Although I don't plan on going off-road any time soon, I like to know I can if I want to.

I have never owned a Toyota so I'm sure I'll have questions in the near future.

She's a beauty. Welcome! The previous owner either plastidipped them (you can peel it right off) or put some overlays on them that's held on by some 3m double sided tape that's also easily removable. I paid $100 for my blacked out emblems so if you don't want them don't break them. I'm sure many people would be happy to pay you for them. The TRD wheels are sweet! Congrats!

Oh I love the black emblems! Doesn't feel like they were dipped. At first I though it was a TRD Pro series, but guess previous owner just wanted the look and not the cost, ha! Thanks!

Welcome aboard. I've owned 3 Jeeps and traded my last, a '15 Wrangler JKU for a '16 4R Trail after the Jeep let us down on an off-road trip. Never knew a 4x4 could be so darned comfortable and handle so well, and the 4R's the 10th 4x4 I've owned since 1964. - Ted
