    Hello,

I'm a 75 year old avid blue (back) road traveler who drives a 2013 bone stock 4Runner with 140K trouble free miles. I'm here to learn and share. Why do I drive a 4Runner? Because I sometimes just make a turn onto a road in the middle of nowhere just to find out where it leads.

    Safe travels!

    Bill

Welcome! My Wandering has gotten me in to some great times, and a few pickles. Here in Fla the trails are disappearing fast and I was once locked in a lumber tract for a few hours trying to find new trails. I was very respectful and luckily they didn't press any charges. A few years ago I realized I was on Reservation Land in AZ after the fact. That could have been ugly. Be careful where you tread and do it lightly lol. Have Fun! P.S. edit: Thank You for Your Service!

I just saw on the news that Maryland is the richest state. Have worked all over it in the inner city of Baltimore and the outskirts of DC. I really enjoyed being there and I have to get there every year to fish..
    Thankyou Troops!!

But we had off duty police officers guarding us most of the time in Baltimore at night....

My firm regularly sends surveyors to Baltimore to do construction layout. We always send at least two people! I grew up there and avoid it as much as I can. It’s a shame what’s happened to my hometown.

It was nice nobody messed with us. I loved every minute there. I was in the North-Pit after the Howard St tunnel train wreck/fire. We had to connect a temporary fiber line it was international. After testing/spicing throughout the city I took my final pictures with the OTDR at PSI net stadium.

Pretty dangerous too. Your fiber runs in the same holes as the main power lines underground. I wasnt jumping into a hole without rubber boots on.
