Hello from STL MO

Hi everyone,

Im in St Louis, on my 2nd 2002 SR5. The first was totaled in a rear end collision on hwy 40. I bought the totaled truck for $700 and took the rest of the settlement to get another '02. I am currently in the process of switching over all the stuff I want - my tires, suspension, tow hitch, supercharger, etc. Once its all swapped out we are going to pull the engine, transmission and transfer case and rebuild them. Once that's done, we're going to swap those into the new truck, and rebuild the ones we pulled from that. Those I guess I will sell off, or store to drop in when the truck rolls 500k

I'll pull any other useful parts too, in case anything ever breaks. The frame and rest will then be scrapped or sold off to become a rock crawler.

So that's where I am at the moment. I've been a member of T4R.org for a while and just discovered this site. I'm looking forward to exploring it and getting to know some of you.

I have to wonder what the difference is between T4R and here that makes it a better home, although if I had to guess it may be that it's a bit crowded there. Not just with people but posts. While all that information is wonderful, it makes searching difficult.
