I'm honored that Bob chose me to be a vendor here. I'm just a one man band building truck parts.

For your 3rd gen 4Runner, I offer skid plates. I have a short IFS, longer IFS + Steering Rack Coverage, Transmission, and Transfer Case skids available as of now. I'm working on gas tank, rear diff, and LCA skids.

have there been any rust issues on the inside? I only see one exit for water, and while I don't think it's much of a concern for water to pool in there, it almost seems like the moisture could get a little trapped.

I'm not aware of any issues like that. The only place that moisture collects is the overlapped flanges, but I can't do much for that. Maybe a washer between them, but as long as they are painted I think they will be good for long term.
