Hi Everyone. I have 2007 Sr5 model 4 Runner that has a little over 190,000 Miles on it. Recently my vehicle has been having hesitated start when I go to start it up after it has been sitting for a few hours. But after the hesitated start the vehicle runs fine and also starts up fine if I shut it off and then start up it again a few minutes after the vehicle has been started. I have had the battery , starter, & alternator all checked and the tests said those are all fine. Has anybody else had a issue like this before or have any ideas what might be causing the hesitated start ?

    Thanks,

    Matt

    V8?
    This may help...

05 4.7 V8 has intermittent extended crank time on cold/hot starts.

Thanks for the suggestion. That gives me a good starting point. My next step to try remedy the problem will be to try to change the spark plugs.
