    Nice work, Love the look!
I just bought a 07 sport. I need to replace my xreas. I’m new to this site and I’m new to 4runners. Please forgive my ignorance, I’m not a mechanic. Can you tell me more about your mods?

Did you keep stock springs on front and rear?
    Any spacer used on front?
What are the red “u” shaped brackets?
Bilstein 5100 shocks on front and rear?

I’m trying to put together a parts list so I can get everything.

Appreciate any help if you have the time

    Welcome Marcel,
Steve is starting a build thread here (nice build BTW!).
No offense is meant to anyone. Any questions involving this build is full access here.
If you have a question about your vehicle or generation in general. Please post in the appropriate thread for those years.
I am not a moderator or trying to be an ass. I just want to help everyone understand how this works.

The red brackets are the UCA's (upper control arms). When you lift a vehicle with independent front suspension you must extend the control arms to... well keep shit in line. You can get lower control arms.

Just spend some time reading & you will learn fast. They are simple trucks built well.
    Congratulations on your new T4R.

    Hi Marcel,

Sorry for a bit late on the response. I will try to answer your questions

XREAS = crap in my opinion. I had Pep Boys install the 5100 as the oil can spray to everywhere. They said they were experts and did it for 80 dollars.
The rear wheel liner had a large spray of oil and the manager said it go all over the mechanic and ground. Now I don't need to worry about it any longer.

Did you keep stock springs on front and rear? yes I still have the stock springs in rear and coils in front. Had a tire shop install 5100 into the coilovers in front
Any spacer used on front? no spacers on this 5100 is on clip 2 soon to be clip 3 or maybe Fox shocks or Bilstein 6100 in front. Maybe new springs in rear
What are the red “u” shaped brackets? Upper Control arm. JBA Offload. Wth this on and caster at 3 degrees it drives like a dream on the fwy.
Bilstein 5100 shocks on front and rear? yes

    Hope this helps
