Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap is great for everything. I use it to shave, wash my hair, great stuff.

 

Got a bar assortment coming. I just ran out of soap.

 

I don’t have a bathtub. I just take a bar down to the lake and bathe.

 

Just got notification from UPS that my CTH skid plate that was supposed to be here tomorrow is out for delivery today!!

 

Got my Patriot back up and running. I was afraid that the transmission was going out in it, but, thankfully it just ended up that the spark plugs needed to be replaced. Thought it was going to be a massive and expensive issue to fix, but instead it ended up being a cheap fix I was able to do in my driveway.

It'll be better when I go to trade it in now too! *laughs*

First road trip in the 4Runner. No problems, quiet and comfortable. 18+mpg on 75mph highways.
Wife is a convert, going from "well, you wanted it" to "I love it !!!". Hmm, on second thought that may not be good news for me.

 

I quit cigarettes again. What’s a couple packs in 7 years? I just needed some smoke.

 

My brother says that quitting smoking is the easiest thing he has ever done.
In fact, he's quit hundreds of times!

 

I started salt/nic. Very low nicotine level but it’s satisfying.

 

What is salt/nic?

 

Not sure. It’s not salty. But yet I haven’t had my usual craving for crab wth salty old bay seasoning.

 

I vape outdoors.

 

You could just stand closer to your meat smoker, and inhale deeply.

 

I don’t have a smoker, that’s not mine it’s the Major General’s.

 

He is helping with a Wisconsin Bear hunt someone drew a tag after ten years.

 

Just got my hunting rights signed. I’m SO freakin happy now!!!

 

Nicholas has been nothing more than a little wind and some much needed rain where we are. Glad I’m not in Galveston or down there along the coast.

 

I donated to DAV. And the local fire department. And not the cheapest donation but the better one.

 

And we have a kid in India. He wants to be an engineer. It’s kewl seeing the handwriting from him.

 

I gave up the salt nic. It effects you differently makes you real lazy. Back to my usual 6% nicotine vape. Which doesn’t really do anything.

I got a job. Manual labor in the cold/freezing temps.

 

It's still a job! I hope the pay makes the conditions you get to suffer is well worth it.

Dress really warm. Remember, Sir Edmund Hillary, when he went up Everest (you think YOU have cold temps!), wore woman's stockings, silk stockings, as a base layer. He said it kept him warmer than anything else he'd ever used. Even a pair of cheapo nylons works good. Ask me how I know, sometime.
There's silk long underwear available, too. Check places like Campmor. The stuff is amazingly warm.
Layers is the secret. The more layers, the warmer. Not a few, really thick ones, but a lot of thinner ones.
