Good news and only Good news:
I run a non-profit and despite having a "dry year" with Grants, I just scored one for over $30,000! Super excited as just yesterday at my quarterly board meeting I had to tell my board that I wasn't able to secure any grants. Now I get to write them and tell them I hit big. lol

 

Congrats! Now go take the 4Runner for a gratitude and perspective lap. Enjoy the moment.

 

I found a dog today or it found me. Was going to keep it but, the owner picked her up.

 

Doe ran in front of me today too. Luckily I have cat like reflexes.

I found $200.00 in the ATM someone left. I turned it in and the owner came back in about 45 minutes.

 

Day 2 of a brand new 2024 4Runner TRD Pro! Both the buck and the 4Runner got lucky! The colors blended so well. Just happy that I was paying attention.

That may absolutely be the sickest thing I have ever seen… I love my 4Runner but…

Toyota should have released this as the Land Cruiser in 2 and 4 doors prices it with the base engine of the Gen 6 4R and make the better trims the hybrid.

make it the starting price of the 4Runner and just stop making 4Runners only selling the Land Cruiser in base form starting at 42k all the way to 65k in a TRD Pro variant.

Wife's recent scans show her cancer is mostly stable, 11 years stage IV breast cancer. Destroying the odds!

 

Freakin 8%? My carpenter neighbor says its worth $600k! He is buildin townhouses that are going for over a million, I hate trim, its tacky and outdated.

 

Got new glasses. The lenses were a grand for a pair of Italian Versaci frames. Seems car headlights dont bother me anymore and I dont have to wear my yellow laser goggles.

Had a out of the blue vertigo attack yesterday after work, spent 2 hrs puking in the parking lot before i could drive home. Usually its 4 hrs before i can function again, so I guess thats a win.

 

You should get some steamed Blue Crabs? They help with stomach colic. I bet if you ate a dozen you would feel better. Especially if they have this yellow stuff inside. Slurp that up it has an enzyme in it.

 

Thanks but Vertigo and stomach colic are not related. Throwing up is my side effect of vertigo if i cant get the dislodged crystals in my ear to settle back into position. It sucks but my hearing damage, Meniere's and several concussions in college are catching up now.

I cant that sounds makes me so nuts i might by a Tesla, lol! i use a white noise machine during sleep hours. But if i wake up the tinnitus is on level 10. It sucks, take care of your hearing boys and girls!

Sadly I’ve not heard the sweet sound of crickets/cicadas at night due to tinnitus from a hunting accident long ago. Some days it’s so bad that I can’t even hear the inverters of many electric cars!
