Getting no power to the trailer harness

    Hello, I have a question for the group! I'm trying to hook up a brake controller. I bought a Tekonsha P3 and a 3040-p wire harness from etrailers. When I plugged everything in , hooked up the ground, I get no power to the harness. Am I missing something or has someone else had this problem?
