Funny Movie

Just watched a 1980 movie last night that I originally saw at the movie theater when it was first released (I'm that old LOL). For those of you who are car enthusiasts, and like slap-stick style of comedy, you would likely enjoy the movie "Used Cars" if you haven't already seen it.

 

Too bad they can’t get away with this type of comedy in today’s world.

 

Very good and funny movie but my favorites from that era are Airplane and Blazing Saddles.

That was a fun movie. Jack Warden's dual roles were priceless.

The wife and I were just talking about Trading Places with Eddie Murphy tonight and how we have to check that out again. Haven’t seen it in a million years. Hilarious movie. Eddie in his prime.

 

It's not exactly a movie, per se, but the funniest video I ever saw on the net was Owl Kitty in Top Gun. Absolutely hilarious, and they did a great job. Just look up Owl Kitty. It's out there, and well worth the time to find.

I love the "Jeff" character in Used Cars. There are still black comedies made today, but they are much more sanitized.

Oh man. Frisco Kid presents such a cringey view of Jews. It’s hard to watch at times. I love when Gene Wilder says “Wait a minute. I’m not a Rabbi for nothing.”

 

If you bought Indiana Jones’ new movie. Partnership with disney, the very first thing you see is “Contains Tobacco Depictions” or something like that. Then in the movie bombs are going off people burn up and ofcourse the black person dies. Guess they don’t care about that?

 

Sounds like an interesting observation about the new Indiana Jones movie! It's always intriguing to see how different elements are portrayed on screen. Have you had a chance to check out any of the movies out right now in theaters? There might be some exciting options worth exploring!

As a former tech at a dealer.....I can relate to the shenanigan's. It's pretty funny and not far off from truth.

 

I got a kick out of the part where they get bonus for "trunking".....
