Fuel Gauge Discrepancy

    Here’s a problem:
    When my fuel gauge nears empty, I add approximately 8 Gallons into the tank. My fuel gauge returns to 3/4 full when fueled full. My tank holds 17.2G.
    Something is off. Any thoughts on how to solve this problem?
