That's interesting. My GF is looking for one. She want a convertible but not wanting to sit down low in a car. That and I'm not big on Jeeps at all so she came up with the FJ 40 all on her own. WINNING !

    Blue

I'll show it to her and see what she thinks.

Yeah I'vedone alot of work to it. Few things that might need a touch up and update on are Drum brakes to discs. They work but they are Drums in all 4 wheels. The frame really has not but been touch but it was kept in the west(AZ to NV) so no rust anywhere. There was a THICK under coat sprayed to the tub long long time ago, its starting to flake off a little. But no major issues just little things for her to work on. lol

Yeah I do like the JEEP look but dont want a JEEP. So I got a FJ40, I dont really want to let it go, but I need to put some money away for a house. It was my first real resto put a lot of blood and sweat into it. All custom out of my garage.

Oh... No A/C and no Power Steering. A/C is easy to do almost bolt on(if you get the parts). Power steering I honestly never needed On or Off road. But the ladie might want it. There is the Cheap Gear box swap or the more expensice and laber required mini truck swap.
