Hey all....what skid plate would you recommend for my 2016 4R Trail with KDSS? I can’t use the OEM Trd skid plate....what’s everyone using?

    Thanks!

You can use the TRD but you have to modify it. There are write-ups on the internet about that option. I have the RCI aluminum skids and they have been great. Bud built also makes a great skid. Full disclosure, I don't have KDSS but pretty sure both companies offer skids for it

I ordered BudBuilt skids and sliders, I have not received them yet but I will write up and post pics, maybe do a thread when I get everything.

I’m keeping my factory TRD but I would go full RCI otherwise. I did on my taco and found them to be to be top quality. Just added their LCA, fuel, and rear dif to my current set up!

I have RCI raw aluminum. Good stuff. IMO another benefit (other than protection) to the aftermarket skids is that you don't have to drop them to change the oil filter.
