Is there a Front/Rear daschcam setup that DOESN'T need a wire/cable to the rear camera? I'm worried about interior rattles if I run a wire to the rear camera.

I ran mine down the door sill to the rear and only went up at the back to avoid having to run it down the entire length of the headliner but also because I have a moonroof. The wireless ones I have seen are more backup cameras.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
    Short answer: No.

They all need cables & wiring. What you want is a wireless camera. Just wire it up. Wires & cabling doesn't rattle around.

On my dash cam I only needed to route two cables, +12v/ground pair and a USB-C.

Across headliner from the overhead console, down the A pillar, bottom drivers and passenger door kickplates, up the B pillar and back under the headliner to the rear window…easy peasy and no rattles.

Edit: The USB-C provides Data and Power to/from the rear camera, the +12V/Ground pair is for something else.

I had one cable to run for mine. I was able to run it through the headliner with only taking off the door weatherstripping. I can confirm through serious off-road testing that it doesn't rattle. :)

I have not seen any wireless dashcams. I have front and rear cameras in my Tundra. It was easy to run the wire, well hidden, and no noises.

Similar here, ran 2 wires across windshield to the A pillar on driver side and then 1 wire down to fuse box, and other through the weather stripping by the headliner all the way to the back. Was really worried about pulling down the weather stripping by the headliner but it was way easier than I though, took like 5 minutes if that. No rattling or any other issue so far.

Yup. It just pulls off and presses back on. Just have to run it through the pillar trim. It took 10 minutes.
