Ridiculous that I'd have to add those, as well as an under-hood light, to such an expensive truck.

I tapped into the pink (ground) and red wires on both sides which feed the bottom door lamps. Hooked them up to 194-type sockets and LED omnidirectional bulbs.
Used an Oznium flood LED light for under the hood. Tapped into a low-amp fuse in the fuse block under the hood.

I'm all lit up now LOL

I did old reds foot light mod. Like everything else he has designed, complete plug and play. To bad the other forum ran him off.

The blue lights are factory toyota parts as are all the harness connectors. Old red designed some nice stuff. Harness plugs in to the climate control harness and dims with dash lights.

This was a harness designed, built and sold by old red on the other forum. Since said forum drove him, his designs and all his posts out.

Yep, it's not an issue and i can't stand interior lighting while driving at night (like the radio). They dim with the dash lights.

Not sure what all he sent you but if it was a part number please share! I've been down this path a few times and never found the exact part number for the footwell light. My SR5 has the same white plastic mounting location as the limited so it should be a fairly easy install once you figure out the wiring.

Old red once engineered a plug and play harness that used the factory lights. Probably be easy to do an after market setup.

See above. Part numbers for the led lights won't do you any good without old red's harness.

Thanks guys. I understand you all are discussing Red's plug and play set up. As much as I wish he would bring those back to market it sounds like it won't happen so my goal was to use the factory lights and come up with my own harness. I've looked at the lights on my wife's limited and there isn't anything special about them. Clip in light, red and blue wire.. Figured if they were cheap enough it would be worth playing with since they snap into the same plastic piece on my SR5.

You are right though, probably easier to just go buy a simple LED light and wire them up.
