Fishing Rod Rack Done!

Removed the 2 rear handholds, put in a piece of U-channel aluminum, 18” NiteIze gear ties.

Under $25....

 

7’ rod is 1” from the front visor and 3” off the rear door

 

This is what I'm using from Inno. It works ok for two rods. 6.5 work great. Anything over 7 ft the tip tucks under the visor. I have it on the passenger side.

The 71 pounder in picture won $500 in Marlin Marine Tournament 20 years ago. Boat took 2nd place two years in a row!

Got to know where the big bulls hang out.

I needed a 4th angler the day of the tournament so I asked my gardener if you would fish instead of work for me that day. That's Albert standing next to his "winning" fish in the picture.

The boat was a 42 foot Performance with three F225s.

I gaffed the fish for Albert.

No one is allowed to touch the line before there is 12 feet of leader "showing" and the swivel!
