Hello! I've never really been on a vehicle forum before other than to ask for help identifying parts years ago on my Honda. After having learned a lot about that engine I felt it was time for a project vehicle, so I looked and found an 800$ '95 3.0 4Runner and she's absolutely gorgeous, aside from the code 52 and an oil leak in the head gasket area... But, on my Honda, I've replaced the front suspension, fly wheel, CPS, throttle body, all belts and hoses (all of them...) and my latest victory was the cylinder head and gasket. Other random little parts too but those are the big ones. After realizing I replaced all these parts just fine without even knowing what was wrong when a sputter started let alone the name of the parts themselves, I felt it's time for a truck... I will not be keeping this little lady but I'm definitely going to change her shoes before trying to find a Subaru or most likely (hopefully) a 3.4 4x4 4Runner. I already know I can swap a 3.4 into this chassis but I'm an Oregonian, needs me some 4x4 that can tow and isn't the size of a boat, especially after being a Honda Accord owner for so long o_O. I might keep it and sell the Honda but unfortunately 22-28 mpg tastes a lot better than 16 highway right now... I look forward to getting to know everyone :).
