    Hi guys,

Very happy to own first 4runner here.
it's 2005 with 120k miles. Just got it, so not so sure what I need to do.
Usually I do the tranny change, but I checked around...we don't need to touch it.
I am thinking carbin filter, check/replace air filter, and buy a bottle of fuel injector cleaner pour into gas tank.
Do sparkplugs need to replace? coolant need to change? what else?
Do a tank or two of 93 octane will help clean the valves?

    Thanks.

I changed some lights, tires and tinted windows...mind blowing huh
Welcome to the site Henry

normally I would change plugs and fluids and filters when I pick up a used car, I just don't trust people and you never know when that stuff was done. I do not know the normal intervals for the coolant, tranny and front/rear diff on this though.

Thanks Jester. I just replaced the carbin filter, it's extremely dirty, the engine filter is fine. The coolant is not that clear so I maybe just replace it. It doesn't hurt I think.

Hi guys, do all the 2005 4Runner sr5 equipped with remote keyless entry? The previous owner just gave me one after market key.
