I’ve been looking at selling my 85’ 4runner for about a year now and have been trying to get the passenger side replaced after getting backed into. Recently with school I’m just not making the money to be able to do so anytime soon. The front rocker panel, door, and rocker under door are all done. Rear quarter was damaged before and is salvage able with small dents, paint chips, and rust. Also some rust on rear driver side quarter panel above wheel. It’s got and ARB bumper with Warn winch. Pod lights on hood and bumper, one doesn’t work on bumper. Truck has some electrical problems such as rear window, dome light and just recently the brake light and charge light have started to blink. Also got a rear tire carrier which covers the back end entirely. 31 inch copper discoveries with method imitation beef locks. It’s got 315,000 miles on the body and somewhere around 100-150,000 miles on the 22re and unknown on tranny.

So I know this is supposed to be the unicorn year for this truck, but what do you guys honestly think? Paid 15 and know I’m gonna take a loss but do you guys think I could get a solid 10 out of it?

7k, but only because it's in Michigan with a clean frame. It doesn't have much going for it besides that.

315k is a lot of miles on an interior, even if the engine is new. And body damage is never a simple or cheap fix, and spare panels are hard to come by. Fenders starting to rust too.

Yes, this was a New Mexico truck for the first 35 years of its life. But if you’re interested man you can text me at 231-730-5815

Yeah I was thinking I might hear a number somewhere around there. Been trying to find original parts and you’re correct it’s like needles in the haystack
