    Those do look like great options. Do they connect to our factory tank? Or will we have to siphon like we would a gas can?

    While I dont see what thickness steel LRA uses I'd probably suspect 1/8" or 3/16" stainless. In my mind going to 1/4" isnt worth the weight. But the whole solid tank plus 24gals of gas at about 6lb per gallon would be on the order of 250-300lb weight. Nothing our runners cant handle but it is a big consideration for people, losing that much capacity in one mod... Just have to weight it against the doubling in range :cheers:

    I've seen some Toyota Landcruisers outfitted with LRA tanks here at Overland get togethers.

    I'm usually off roading locally or in Arkansas and so far have always been able to find a gas station close to the trail.
    A multi day off road trip is where I would want bring some spare fuel along.
