wife and I have been binge-watching expedition overland on prime video. We are up to season 3 south America. Great show featuring a 4runner, Tacoma and I forgot the other one. If you haven't seen it yet I recommend it for a nice video especially as the seasons progress the quality gets better.

If you like that, check out 4wd24-7 on YouTube. It’s Australian and they do some great adventures.

Prepare to start disliking them as the seasons progress. They begin acquiring apparatus that's beyond the reach of the common man, and, IMO, flaunting it.

They had a good idea with their "Overlander" sub-series but it ate a big D towards the end, too.

Really nice family. Watched a lot of it while overseas trapped in a CLU on my day off.

The Alaska one was pretty good, didn't really get into the central American one but really liked the South America one as they hit places I had always wanted to go. By the way, the 3rd vehicle was a Landcruiser in the 1st 2 and another 4Runner in the SA one.

I did notice that as the series progressed it turned more into an infomercial for the stuff they used, tents, clothes, vehicles, etc. I still enjoyed it, for the most part, sponsors want their air time you know.
