Looking to get an exhaust system for my 2016 4RUNNER TRD PRO. I don't want it too loud but want a nice sound. Any suggestions on the brand?

Exhaust vs air intake? Which is better?

I've always been partial to magnaflow.

Neither will give you any noticeable net gains. You're really just paying for sound when everything is said and done.

Did you ever do an exhaust or cold air intake?
I was looking at both also.

Personal opinion, these engines don't really sound good no matter what you do to them. Having said that, the only aftermarket exhaust I've found that sounds acceptable is Magnaflow. Every other exhaust I've heard for these 4.0's sounds raspy, tinny, or just terrible in some way. The Magnaflow has the smoothest sound I've experienced.
