Lots of old logging roads, some trails in the northern part of the state are designated for off road travel. Certain counties have certain laws on trails you may see and decide to go on. There is a Midwest area thread on the forum here and the "Wisconsin" part of the thread have maps access and more info on the trails in the state, not trying to 'stiff' you on a answer, it's just that I don't get time to properly explore the state. I have got to get out more! I forgot to add; my 'in-laws' live in Woodstock, and when we're down there I go exploring some, but really don't know where to find a trail there.

No worries, I get you on the logging roads. My way it is mining roads.
