    Comes on whenever you have parking lights or headlight on; off with DRL or lights off. Nothing fancy.

    It's a light that is so dim you can't see it.

    I might be incorrect but it seems I remember having the option to turn this light off with Carista. "Courtesy Light" option I think. Again, I might be wrong.

    Hmm... What would a light be used for?

    And its a small light over your head providing visibility of the shifter and controls but not so bright to hinder visibility at night....

    I wonder. lol
