The Treaty Oak spacers relocate the KDSS sway bars front and rear down to a more stock angle, whilst the Dobinsons lean correction spacers push that side of the car higher to compensate for how the KDSS system usually creates a lean. This is why only one method is really needed, and the Treaty Oak spacers work better than coil/strut spacers from what I've found. It also makes it ride smoother with a better sway bar angle.

Gotcha..Thank You. Do you know why the Treaty Oak kit "only" has 3 spacers instead of 4?

    Dobinsons 2.5" lift. Cooper AT3 XLT 295/70R17.
If i wanted an extra 1/2" of lift, would it be better to adjust the shock, or add a spacer like PS59-4030?

I ask because I don't know if that adjustment would negatively impact ride quality, and throwing on a spacer might be faster than compressing the coil for a small adjustment.

The piston side on the front can get really long and a spacer isn't needed on it

For just half an inch, adjusting the shocks would be fine. But yeah, adding a spacer is easier, but it costs money to do that too.

    Hi Mike,

I'm currently running fox suspension with icon 2” rear springs and now have sag with my new setup. I’m running 33”, tire carrier, new heavier RTT, and fully loaded with gear. I’m looking to get new rear springs to help with the major rear sag it has now. The truck is usually only loaded during summer for multiple trips. But other than that I unload it.

Which rear spring would you recommend? I’m non-kdss. Thank you.

Will be adding a front bumper with winch and a rear tire carrier as the ride is a little stiff at the moment.

I put on my Dobinsons lift Saturday. The rear seems to have a slight pogo affect. I have the IMS59-50705 shocks and C59-325 springs. I also put the PS59-4025 15mm poly spacer on each side for extra lift, but I may remove them since the back is higher than I expected it to be. Would this spacers be causing the pogo effect?

Hey man. C59-677V is what I'd recommend, but they're 3" springs. If you're looking to stay at 2" of lift, C59-329's would be the next best bet. When unloaded, you'll be sitting at like 2.5" of lift.

Definitely take those spacers out. It'll look better and should get rid of the "pogo" effect.

    Mike,

Looking to put a 2" lift on my 16 trdp, which springs would work with Bilstein?

I'll be at 2.5" lift unloaded on the 2" or 3" spring?

All of the Dobinsons front springs will work on 5100's, but none will work on 6112's.

Use C59-300 if you're stock weight up front.

So I would assume the 3" sit at 3.5" unloaded? I have garage clearance issues, so I have to be pretty precise on my measurements.

The 677V sit at about 3.25" unloaded usually. If you have clearance issues, go with less lift for sure.

    2/1 lift
Hey Mike. I have installed a Dobinsons 2/1 lift on our 2019 and now I have a left lean, 3/4" rear and "1/2 front. I originally thought we had KDSS but once under it, realized we didn't. Didn't use the supplied spacers. Should I use them on the left side to correct the lean?

    Hey man.

Yeah, using those spacers front and rear on the low side should push you back level. That's quite a lot of lean for a low lift, but it happens sometimes.

    Hey Mike!

I am running about 400lbs of extra weight with full length rack, rtt, sliders, and platform in the trunk with fridge/slide. I am looking for 2.5 front, 1.5 rear lift.

What would be your suggested setup?

    Hey man.

Does the RTT stay up there all the time? I've had guys run the C59-505 even with a RTT and not have a problem with the lift height. Technically the 2" C59-325 would squat down to 1.5" of lift with 200-220lbs on them, so that would be the next option, but if you take the tent off, it will be 2" of lift or there about.

And up front, C59-302 coils would get you the 2.5".

Then you would just need to decide which level of struts and shocks you want to go with. Twin tube, IMS or MRA.

just read through this thread. Very much appreciate the info Here's our rig:

    2019 4runner TRD Off-road w/ KDSS | Front/Rear full bumpers w/ winch and tire swingout | 2 adults/3 kids | full drawers | Fridge | normal amount of food/gear | no RTT/Rack at the moment but planned.

    Basically, she's a heavy beast.

This is what i came up with for 2.5" of lift with all that weight using the builder. How'd I do? also, what kind of lead time is there on my list? thanks!

    Hey man.

Yeah, that's pretty close. You ordered twin tube front struts and monotube IMS rear shocks though, so you'll need to match those up front and rear. The coil spring selection is correct.

With the Treaty Oak spacer kit, you won't need the front and rear leveling spacers.

As of right now, it's in stock, and would just take 2-3 weeks for the assembly.

Could you pair dobinson coil/springs with Eibach shocks?

In the back no problem. But up front, I'm not sure. They might use a different coil end configuration on their struts that may not match Dobinsons. Dobinsons use the OE configuration.

any ideas what to do with a 21 trd pro so I can stiffen up the back end and eliminate the extreme sag from dogs and a small trailer?
