They are plastic covers with 3m adhesive strips. I found them on Amazon, although they came from a Toyota dealership in Florida . I paid $99 for them, we will see if they last.

I wiped down the decals with a cleaning wipe and then used alcohol prep pads to ensure no residue was left behind.
