Dash lights

    help me guys. I had some bulbs out in the climate control area of the dash and the gear shifter so I replaced the bulbs. When I did the light on gear shifter still didn't work so I used a tester to see if I had power and when I touched the connector all of the dash lights went out

    You blew a fuse, hopefully. The alternative is that you burned up a wire. Have to be careful when you're messing with wires with the battery connected. Next time disconnect the battery and test for continuity instead of voltage.
