I purchased this 2006 4Runner in July? of 2016. It was in superb condition to have 136,000 miles on it. I am very impressed with the capability of this machine in near stock form. It is miles ahead of the 2003 Tacoma I upgraded from! The 1st "evolution" was as follows:
    2.5"/1" Daystar Spacer Lift
    265/70/17 BFGoodrich KO2's
17x8.5 Pro Comp 5029 "La Paz"

If you'll scroll down to some more recent posts you'll see my recent addition of a 6112/5100 combo. Through a little trial and error getting the correct ride height I wound up with 2" icon springs in the rear (no spacer) and the 6112's with the driver side on #5 perch and passenger side on #3 perch with the front spacer from my original 2.5/1" daystar kit. It sits exactly level at the moment, i'm hoping the front settles a bit.

Nicely done, I'm looking to do something along these lines. Do you get any noticeable rub with these tires using only the spacers? How do you like the daystar setup?

Overall, I like the Daystar kit. Rides great, handles great. But, I do wish it was just a little bit taller so I could go with a little bigger tire. The front tires rub on the front side of the inner fender. The easy solution is to trim the inner fender well. It's nothing serious at all.

Coming soon! 6112/5100s! Considering Camburg UCA and wheeler's superbumps along with some toytec 2" lift springs in the rear. 25435378_10156042109634679_482648013_o.jpg 25445267_10156042109569679_129882078_o.jpg

The current combo is 6112 fronts on the second highest setting with the original 2.5" daystar front spacers and Camburg UCAs. 2" icon springs in rear with no spacer and 5100 shocks. I also have the wheeler's off road superbump bumpstops. It sits just high enough that it doesn't make the 265-70-17 KO2s look too small (I already want bigger tires though) and wound up almost perfectly level. The rear springs were used and fronts are new. I'm hoping the front settles just a bit to give it a tiny amount of rake.
