Your tires look pretty good. They aren't stock are they? Looks like you already had a 3 in" lift. I like the aluminum skid plate and bumper with a winch if you are planning on doing lots of offroad. Looks like you would be able to winch on trees from your picture as I live in the desert with no trees so a winch wouldn't help me except on a very rare occasion. I use rescue boards to get out of sand/mud/snow. I'm sort of in the same spot as you and looking for the best mods. Try as I might I still end up spending 90% of my time on pavement so I run the stock all terrain that Toyota gave me on my 2016 Trail.

Yup tires are aftermarket, and car has a 2 inch lift. Holding back on the bumper because it's almost 1k dollars. I was looking at those rain guards for the windows. Not sure if people are using low or high profile ones on the runners. They do look cool

I hear those rain guards are a good thing if you plan on sleeping in your 4runner when its raining outside.

I have them on mine. I love them. They also help keep sun out of my eyes in places where I might need the visor.

Tinted windows are cheap and easy, and the relief for your eyes is priceless. I have sensitive eyes though

I have mine tinted too. BUT my only complaint is that i need to roll them down at night when I am reversing to make sure I don't run anyone over. I doubt that is everyone though, I have 5% on top of 20%.

5% on 20% is considerably dark. I like 20 all around and a nice low visor at 5%

haha, yeah its very dark. The previous owner had done that. Its nice because I don't have to even think about covering things up on the back seat or in the back. Its way too dark for even a flashlight to get through.

Not sure what your preference/interests are, but adding some nerf bars wouldn't break the bank. Super easy to install.

Maybe refresh the headlight lens by buffing them out and/or painting the chrome bezel with black paint?

Exhaust would be easy, doesn't off much in the way of looks but sounds pleasant to the ears.

Adding spacers to widen the stance can look good, if you have room for it.

    Do you have a picture?
I already have a loud TRD exhaust with a resonator :hattip:
I've been pretty interested in that topic. Apparently spacers changes the way your tire turns or something which can cause rubbing? Ive been pretty confused on that topic...

I have spidertrax 1.25" spacers and im running 285/75/16 duratracs and i only get a slight rub on the inner fender when articulating and turning. Only happens when i'm wheeling. I've never had rubbing issues on the street.

I'm doing a grill mod on mine next. That looks pretty good.
