Cel lean bank 1

Hey guys, after taking my 4runner out this weekend, both times while out messing around in the desert, I through a check engine light accompanied by the traction control off light, and the VSC light. After clearing the code, driving around town with normal driving habbit, no code fires, it's only when I take it off road, and the truck is running great 2001 with 186,xxx
. I had an old school mechanic who is a old family friend suggest it may be a vaccum leak. Anyone else experience this or can possibly point me in the right direction?
