2007 SR5, V6. 4WD, 212,xxx miles. I have what I consider excessive body roll. Any "quick" steering input & it feels "soft" initially but then firms up. It has had the following done within the last 5K miles: coilovers, front swaybar bushings/links, front wheel bearings, front brakes, rear shocks, rear swaybar bushings/links replaced. Any thoughts on what I might try?

Have you looked at the bushing on the RSB linkages? I ask as I myself had one side "good" and the other side was gone, cracked, and not connected and it made noise as well as made the body roll more noticeable than not having the RSB even connected...just another spot to check out I suppose. Could be your springs/shocks need rebuilding/swapped too...

Replaced the links & RSB bushings. Shocks have < 4K miles front & rear.

Dang! Have you swapped with an OEM replacement or did you "update" to say a Bilstein 4600 et Al? Do you have XREAS by chance on your 4runner? With all you have replaced, it should feel tight and right!

Unless I missed it, I don't see front shocks on that list. How many miles on those?

@backpacker which could mean just the springs, but I think he replaced front coilover shocks.

Yeah, I interpreted it as just springs. If it was the whole assembly, I still note that they were Tacoma takeoffs, so I wonder how many miles. Also, wasn't there a thread in the last couple month where somebody discussed the characteristics of Tacoma coilovers relative to the 4R?

Just to clarify. Shocks (front & rear) came off a 2022 (I think) Tacoma TRD. Had ~ 4K miles on them when I got them. Now ~ 7K as I just returned from a trip to Victoria, BC. Sway Bar bushings & end links (front & rear) are new as of ~3K ago. On the trip just finished, on roads where there is an undulation in the surface on a curve, the "body roll' is quite pronounced. Not uncontrollable, but pretty bad. My plan is to weigh the truck, front axle, rear axle & total w/ full gas tank & normal "stuff". Measure from ground to fender lip on all four corners on a level surface. Then provide that info to ToyTech or some other Pros & see what they recommend for springs. Good Idea?

That's a good plan, also, do you have a rack that have been loaded? New springs built for a 4runner to fit the new shocks will greatly help!
