Blacked Out with Black TRD wheels
In 2016 I bought my first 4Runner. It is a 2012 SR5 with 59K on the clock at the time of purchase. I'm now at about 124K miles and counting.

I've recently completed some modifications to black it out.

This is what my truck looked like before the modifications:

    After mods:

Since taking this picture, I've replaced the chrome fog light bezels with black ones.

Hi! I'm brand new here and soaking in all the knowledge I can. I have a 2011 4Runner Limited that I've had about a year (first one) and I love it. I'm slowly but surely making some mods to the interior (head unit, speakers, etc) but am not very knowledgeable and am feeling my way through it. One of the things I'd like to change the most is the chrome door handles (and trim if possible). I've looked into a new black grill with the Raptor lights and "Toyota" spelled out instead of the emblem. My question is how do you black out the door handles and trim pieces, etc? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm a newbie. Any help appreciated! Thanks!!

Another potential solution to get rid of some of the chrome if you don't need roof rails or a rack is to remove the chrome factory rails and use this Toyota kit to plug the holes and keep the vehicle waterproof. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KTQ4HTC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

can you share more about how you did this? Especially the backend, trim, door handles, and the fog lights?
