    Hello all,
Anyone else have an issue with their Hood not closing after installation of AVS Hood Deflector? Any adjustments that can be made or just send it back?

Update: Had to remove the provided plastic washers from the underside of the Deflector in order to complete install. Hope it will not cause any issues with potentially cracking the Deflector, but was the only way I could get the Hood to close. Attempted the suggested adjustments of the rubber hood stops, but still would not work with the washers in place.

    Appreciate everyone's replies!

Back out the rubber hood stops a bit until it clears.

I noticed when I installed mine it was a VERY tight fit when you close the hood. I even took strips of paper to check the clearance and it clamped down on the paper very tight. I couldn't slip the paper out. It ripped. I got worried and thought it was going to push down on the color matched trim piece. I didn't want it ruining the paint. It seemed ok and didn't mar or scratch the paint so I left it alone.
