i got a 42" light bar for christmas and i am still yet to mount it because i am so reluctant to drill into my roof. also even if i did i wouldn't know where to start with wiring and attaching and blah blah blah whatever i have to do to make it safe. i just need help and guidance with other ways to attach it maybe.

i do have a factory roof rack. and a brush guard that has small mounts for a small bar...but i dont want a small bar. i am also in conflict wethere or not to get a bigger one so i dont have to drill into my 4 and decrease the value. when and if i would see the bar would be sold too. idk man i just need assistance and my 4 is my pride and joy and i dont want to mess it up in any way. thanks for the link btw!!! and the feed back

Since you have the factory roof rack, you should be able to fab up some brackets for your light bar.
