like the title says anyone tried a 285/70/17 with 5100's set on .85? I'm not doing any serious off roading 99% hyw for me. Was wondering how bad the rub would be.

    Thanks

I don't, but I believe to run that, you have to trim fenders.

Probably not possible without quite a bit of trimming. On stock rims the tires may also hit the upper control arm.

I tend to agree with what has been previously stated but have also read of 285s on stock wheels without spacers or lift not rubbing. Although uniform stock parts, each vehicle's dimensions slightly vary...like fingerprints if you will.

Don't forget, you can fit taller tires on the same setup if they're skinnier.
