That’s Beskar! Give me $2,500 for it and I will trade the 16013 in on the Yacht Master?

He wants full asking price of $9,600 for the YachtMaster. With mine I would need $4k more. Aint happening takes me 6 months of hard labor to make that.

Nice, I have a two line 14060 sub purchased new in 1996. It still keeps great time but is overdue for a service.

Never been a fan of the cyclops, the no date sub has always been my favorite.

During the Covid lockdowns I got into some minor watch modding. This is one of my projects after the original movement started losing 2-3 minutes a day:
    20230418_211854.jpg

    Seiko SKX009
NH36 movement that hacks and hand winds
    Sapphire crystal
    Polished handset
    Engraved crown
Strapcode Jubilee bracelet with solid endlinks

I'll post a few of my other projects and watches later in the week.

    Yep agreed.

I also have a modified SKX007 with an NH36 movement. It's my favorite tool watch that gets most of my wrist time.

    I am.
But I'm also on a budget, so my 'collection" is mostly G-Shocks in various colors and a few Nixons.
on a related note...do any of you know if Invictastores.com is a legit business? their prices on some watches seem too good to be true

007 is a must have. My only regret was selling my Marinemaster

My modified 007 on a Strapcode Endmill bracelet.
    20230419_054239.jpg

I swapped the movement swapped to NH36 so it also hacks and hand winds, no more shaking to get it running again.
    Sapphire crystal
White handset with a dab of nail polish on the second hand.

I have a few Seikos in my watch box including a pair of SARBs, the 033 and 035 that were discontinued a few years ago.20230419_055736.jpg

My 14060M two line Submariner, the watch I will never sell.

Very nice pieces! I tried on the 033, and it wore awesome. I had two 16660 SD and a 16710 coke. I enjoyed wearing the 5 digits because they were so light. I just can't justify buying another 5 digit right now due to the insane prices. I have my Seiko turtle that I want to swap to a sapphire but I just never got around to it.

Yes Rolex prices are insane right now, maybe some day down the road I'll pull the trigger on a 16660

I have a few turtles submitted to the wife for my next birthday present, hopefully she decides to get me the Pepsi PADI SRPE99. I have too many black dialed divers in my collection as it is.

Hell, I'm also considering picking up the SBP151/153 Captain Willard reissue. I've been test driving the San Martin Homage to see how much it might work into the rotation.

The Willard is an awesome piece. I've been eyeing the sbdc101 since it was released. I bought the grenade just to change up the scene with all black dials and it looks better in person than in pictures.

So it’s actually a 16030 which is the SS and the 16013 is 18k/Stainless. So someone modded this prob when they replaced the dial. Two gold links have wear underneath. They are solid gold.

The grenade is one of the turtles I put on my birthday list to the wife although I'm not sure how well I will wear a green watch.

Here's the San Martin Willard homage. I have to say it's a great little watch for less than $250. If I decide to get the Willard I won't have any problems flipping this.

My cheap Seiko 5. Love this thing. Super interested in the new Seiko GMT line and Spinnaker GMT/Diver lineup.

Adjusted the band with my $6 jewelers screwdriver set. No stretch. I’m never taking this off my arm for the rest of my life. I will sleep, eat, and fish with it on.
