any mechanics in the 757 (southside)?

hi all! purchased a 2002 2wd SR5 from a friend that hadn’t been driven for a while. driving it after having it a couple weeks i noticed the temp was rising, luckily i was only about a mile from my destination (portsmouth, va). when i stopped coolant was leaking from the area around where the water pump would be (it was dark and i could not see the exact area). i got a timing chain kit and water pump plus a valve cover gasket set. my friend that is a mechanic savant is no longer working on vehicles due to deteriorating discs in his lower back. hopefully someone here is a mechanically inclined hobbyist that can help me out for a good price. thanks!
