Any 2023 TRD Pro owners running Eibach lift springs?

I have been looking at the available options to lift my new TRD Pro and had decided on going with the Eibach springs. The kit on their website says it only fits 21-22 TRD Pro’s with the Fox suspension. I called Eibach about this and he said they have a new kit in development for the 23-24 Pros which I found odd. The stranger thing is the new kit is stated to be 2.5 inches of lift up front and 1 inch in the rear. I was under the impression there were zero changes from 22 to 23. I also feel like 2.5 up front and 1 in the rear makes the front sit too high for me. So long story short, anybody out there with a 23 Pro that has verified the Eibach kit for the 22 fits?

 

sounds like every other lift. I dont have a PRO but i do have the eibach truck lift. 2015 sr5 ( peasant ) 2.75'' in the front ( says the pamphlet ) and 1'' in the rear.

 

I know the Pro’s have a slight factory front lift of 1 inch or so. Prior Eibach kit only lifted 1.4” in the front. Sounds like I may just be leaving it stock because 2.5” up front is too much in my opinion. It will definitely make the rear look squatted in certain situations or angles.

 

Looks like I found my answer. Apparently Toyota did make changes to the strut in 23 and 24 which caused some problems with the Eibach kit. That’s what has caused the redesign that will be released in the next couple months.

 

I have seen 2 Pros posting the Eibach coil lifts on there 23 Pros on Facebook. So they are running thoses springs. I contacted Eibach also and the person I spoke with gave me the same measurements and springs won’t be ready probably spring sometime. I’m not chancing running the 22 springs for my 23. I had them in my 20 AG Pro and no issues. But I’m going with westcott lift.

 

The bad part if owners are adding the 22 springs to the 23 Pro and causes a problem they are going to have a hard time with Toyota.

 

Yep. Now that I know there was a design change I am definitely holding out. I believe the Eibach kit should be released in March or very soon. I will wait and see what it ends up being. The Toyota installer I talked to doesn’t think it will be 2.5 inches more up front. He seems to think they are accounting for the 1” factory plus the added 1.5” from the spring to get to the 2.5” number. We shall see. He said he wasn’t a big fan of the preload kits and said they tend to give a stiffer ride. Ride is always subjective to each person so I think I want to hold out for a properly tuned spring. With the added weight from the supercharger that may help a little too. lol.

Dropped my 24 off today to get tint all around, PPF for the whole front, and ceramic coating. Hope to have it back by the weekend. Lol.

 

I put that kit in my 2023 a few months ago. They had just changed the front spring lower mount from a flat design to the newer Fox shocks notch bottom. They went in perfectly and work great! They added the 1.4 " to the OEM 1" so that kept the front lift at 2.5 ".

I just called to see what was up with the redesign, the new kit is all the same just 10mm longer in the front. If memory serves extending the shock has a 2:1 affect on lift so that should raise the front another .78" over their 1.4" springs for a new gain or 2.1" + the OEM 1" = 3.1" total, that's more like the Westcott lift spec. Using whole new springs instead of spacers for the same cost was a no brainer to me and Eibach has excellent customer service, they're sending me a set of the new front springs when they come out so I'll have the latest /greatest.

 

I chose this time to pass on the Eibach springs first I did not want to wait for the 23 springs and after having the westcott on my 21 tundra pro I liked how it road and handled.

 

I contacted Eibach and they just sent me an email saying the new kit to run with the 2023-2024 TRD Pro Fox Shocks will be available ~3rd week of April. It should give a 2.5" front lift and 1.0" rear lift. Part# is E30-82-071-05-22.

 

That seem like it will be nose high with 2.5 for the front? Was going to go with the springs because my 20 AG Pro had them. But only got 1.4 for the front and running 285’s and SCS wheels I had to remove front mud flaps and add the Rockbloz flaps.

 

I think the new kit will have the same lift as the old. +1.4-1.5" over the standard 1.0" lift from the Fox Shocks and +1.0" in the rear, which are the same measurements on the Eibach website for the 2021-2022 lift.

 

I have talked with a few who think that will be the case. If it’s 2.5” in the front over factory on the pro it will really be a Bro truck at that point. Lol. I talked with a Toyota dealership and they are convinced the 2.5 number is including the stock pro lift as well. I hope that’s the case. Waiting on this kit for my 24 Pro as well.

 

2.5" total in the front (1.5" over stock). I've heard great things about the Westcott lift and their new lift is 3" total (2" over stock) in the front and requires 2" springs in the back. However, I prefer the concept of replacing springs vs. a spacer lift.

 

While waiting for the updated springs I remeasured. I believe my springs settled a bit, I put a small 3/8 Cornfed top spacer in (deemed safe by Tinker and others) and it looks great. Fox-1", Eibach 1", 3/8 Cornfed=3/4" for a total of 2 3/4" in the front, and 1" in the rear. It still has a little rake and measures 22 1/4 from the center of the ft hub.

 

Neither the new Eibach or Westcott.. Go with the new Fox Performance Eiite 3/2 with Icon 2” rear lift sprigs and Icon UCA’s! Rides so plush on and offroad!

I kind of want to use shocks for a while before I completely change my suspension. My plan was to do a simple upgrade until I hit ~50k miles and then redo everything. Going back and forth between Kings vs Fox and using Accutuned to help

 

Go Fox over King. Kings are too soft both on road and off road. I sold my stock Fox soon as I took them off. Huge difference in ride quality!

I am going to have to see some pictures of this installed before I make the jump. 2.5” up front just seems a little on the extreme side.

 

I have to agree. The 2019-2020 springs raise the front 1.6". How much travel do this trd pro shocks have anyway that you can run a 2.5" lift spring

 

Don’t see how you get that alignment right either without new upper control arms.

My guess is that it's a 1.5" lift in the front over the stock 1" lift for a total 2.5".

 

Was waiting on Eibach to come out with new springs, but got impatient and pulled trigger on WD. Would love to know the ride difference between the two.

 

Eibach springs have a higher spring rate from factory, they lift the ride and firm up ride quality. Wd Setup keeps factory ride quality but lifts up the ride. So if you added weight(bumpers, sliders, skid plates, roof rack, etc..) eibachs spribgs is by far a better choice.

But any mount of lift added to the trd pro suspension get aftermarket uca.

My only concern is how much lift you can add to the trd pro suspension without killing the down travel

 

If this is the same situation (and I suspect it is) with the ‘22, there are very slight differences year to year so the coil needs to be machined just right to sit in the strut snug as a bug and gain the right height. When I got mine, the Eibach release was right about the same time of year (Fox was Pro suspension in 21 and 22 as well - 21 Eibach was not a good fit for a 22 Pro and you I needed to wait a few months into the MY for Eibach to match the slight differences between years).

As for the height… 2.5” over stock non-pro height (1.5” over stock pro height) makes sense to me… fox on a pro aren’t extended travel shocks. All my own speculation, of course, but there aren’t a lot of lifts out there that are just springs getting you that much lift IMHO. You could do eibach + wd for the 2.5” over pro stock height but then you might want to just go with an off-road premium and go with a whole new aftermarket set up… either way with IFS you are just getting ride height gains, not fitting bigger (285) tires without chopping or rubbing.

I love the eibachs on my pro. Feels as good or better than stock.
