Goal of this build is to provide my family a vehicle to take advantage of the beautiful scenery and open, remote locations Wyoming has to offer.

    Completed mods:

    16x8 Konig Countersteer
    265/75/16 Goodyear Duratrac Load C
    TRAC / VSC disable switch
    DRL disabled
    Rear Diff breather mod
Tru-Cool 4490 Transmission cooler (radiator bypassed)
    Scan Gauge
Deckplate + Airaid intake tube (from my Tacoma)
    AfE Air Filter
Uniden CB w/ Firestik Antenna (Cbi mount)
Old man Emu 3" lift (Toytec)
    20 % Tint
    NGK Plug Wires
    Snorkel

One of the last pictures of my old Tacoma before the parts began to swap. Still miss her sometimes, If I had got orders to either AZ or CA I probably would have kept it.

First step like many others was to remove the stock steps.

I decided to install a new radiator and bypass it with a Tru-Cool 4590 Cooler. Granted, I know opinions are equally divided on this mod; however I do enjoy the peace of mind of avoiding the dreaded "Milkshake" defect and the temps.

I swapped over my Konig Countersteers from my Tacoma.

Also took my handy Dremel to shorten the mud flaps.

Some Ebay TRD decals ( I tried to align it with the red/clear lines of the rear lights).

Plasti Dipped the chrome badges ( I've since totally debadged).

    UnitDECAL.jpg

Squadron Decal (Yes, the Military still flies the Huey).

I then decided on the TRAC / VSC disable mod. I've found this mod to be extremely helpful while wheeling esp. in the snow. I decided on a Toyota factory fog light switch for the mod. Details can be found here.

I decided to mount my CB Antenna with the CBi mounts (found here).

    cbinstall.jpg

To enable a "clean" install I choose to drill a hole in the middle of the external speaker bracket and through the plastic. This allowed me to run the cable from the speaker to the cb and keep it completely out of sight.

    OMElift.jpg

Tax returns meant I could finally lift my T4R. I decided to go with the Toytec OME 3" lift. I went with 883's up front and 891's with 60028 Med load shocks in the rear. I do plan on purchasing a front bumper in the future ( probably from Addicted Off-road).

    Diff Drop.

Lift and most current pic I have.

    snorkel.jpg

Snorkel purchased and still in same position until I get the nerve to install it.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my build. As with many ohers the build never really ends just goes in a new direction. If you have questions, critics or advice please let me hear it, I appreciate it. Thanks.

Looks fantastic! I really like ur rims. The black contrasts nicely against the white.
