Hey ya'll! I have a 3rd gen, limited with 240,000 on it. Had it for almost a year now but I'm ready to do some modifications. Looking to see everyone's opinions on brands for some accessories? I want to add an LED bar, bull bar or grill guard (help?), paint my wheels matte black, switch over my hood to one with a scoop and vinyl wrap it with a matte black. My truck is the light sand color now. Want to remove my running boards so I can take it up the mountain, don't want to lift because my steering rack is already struggling. Also, I want to smoke out my headlights. Long story short, opinions/ input on the following..

    LED Bars
Bull Bars (also: bull bar vs. grill guard)
    Painting Wheels
    Buying Vinyl
    Finding a Scoop Insert
    Smoked Headlights

P.S. I have a small spot rusted through on my hood, about an inch, how do I stop it?!

Led bar - RI or Baja. Both lights are fantastic, output the light power that's advertised, warrantied, etc.

Bull bar can do more damage to ur 4R if involved in an accident. Personal choice

Lights - you can always tint them yourself.

Let's see. Led bar depends on where you want to mount and how much you want to spend. Ri and baja are great but expensive. You can find cheap ones on Amazon that will do the trick. Got mine for 150 here's a pic

I'm also against the bull bar idea. Painted rims id go with plasti dip first to make sure you like it then to a higher quality paint. For the hood scoop you'll need to buy the scooped hood and the scoop guts. Altogether I believe I spent 300. The hood was after market the guts are oem. Hope this helps.
