    oh the list....!
patience...... It will be worth the wait. The good guys often get covered up with orders, because, THEY'RE GOOD. Production can be a learning experience. Dealt with it personally, and My Schrockworks bumpers surprised me because they HAD learned some methods of production, and therefore, produced my order early. It happens. :)

Did they say how much your bumper in the config you have ordered will weigh?

63lbs with single swing arm...70...ish with dual and high lift mount i imagine. Throw on a 295 with 25lb wheel...probably looking at 150lbs fully loaded

Looks great...Just wondering was there was a practical reason that you have your spare tire on the left side rather than the right side? Most of the pics I see of these the tire is on the right. My guess would be that they put the majority of the weight on the right to compensate for fuel weight that exists on the left side already? Just curious.

It is easier to see my right rear blind spot. Not sure if I'll change it up

    Well it turned out Awesome…Congrats!
For all the trouble, extra build time it took the manufacturer should refund you money spent on jack mount and send it to you for free.
Bumpers are made for scratches; just be glad it arrived with no dents.

Question: is this the Aluminum or Steel that you went with?

Looks great, is there anything you would change about the setup of the tire and storage cans?

Does it have a single or double swing out?

What do you think of the swing arm releases? They look like cotter pins. I agree with your choice of the Hefty Fab as it's more svelte & appreciate your commentary on putting the tire on the driver side-I'll do the same for the reason you stated. I sure do like the looks of the CNM swing arm release though...

No nothing I would change except possibly switching the tire and dual jerry holder. They are both modular in nature while both swing out arms are identical. I like having the rear right of vehicle open for viewing of blind spot. Im not sure if it contributes to more lean (i have always had kdss lean), but once loaded up with 2 jerry cans with fuel it will be pretty much even weight displacement

They are not cotter pins. It is a hitch like pin (single and solid) with clasp on top that folds down. Not sure what technical term would be but it reminds me of what we used to secure things behind our john deer tractor growing up. The releases seem sturdy and need applied pressure, not a lot, to secure. My only concern would be any morphing over time may contribute to a more difficult secure. Obviously if you got rear ended you'd have bigger fish to fry. I doubt you would alter them significantly unless you like to drive backwards frequently when rock crawling. I do like the look of driver's side tire swing out, just more unique compared to what is out there.

Not sure what CNM release stands for?

Sorry, CNM was supposed to be CBI (my auto correct must not like that letter combination). I think I would go with the Hefty Fab as well, I just wonder how annoyed I would get in every day usage with those pins, plus it seems like something to loose. I've seen MetalTech's GX rear bumper with dual swing away & the latch looks like the same as the CBI latch. That latch was super convenient to use. That said, I bet I could just add that type of latch. I definitely like the overall appearance of the Hefty the best. Looks great on your vehicle.

I note their website doesn't have an option of the tire on the passenger side, did you have to work that out with them or was it an option when you ordered. I think your point regarding visibility is a great one and I intend to follow your example!

If you want a better latch go with expedition one. Unfortunately I don't believe it's available in aluminum.

Thanks, I didn't know about them. I'm planning steel anyway. That sure is good looking and it lo KS like it has the easy release latches I prefer.

As previously mentioned each swing arm is identical with attachments for tire swing out and dual jerry are modular in nature. That is just how i asked my shop to install

I guess I didn't understand that they had identical mounting mechanisms. That's great-love the adaptability/changeability. Thanks!

Not sure if you're still on here - but curious how you like your Hefty Fabworks rear bumper after a couple of years? Still good - likes/dislikes?
