    I did this many years ago so I don't remember the exact wiring but I recall it being quite simple.

    Try a Google search on "Flash to pass garage door opener". It's popular amongst motorcyclists as it really facilitates accessing the garage while all suited up. It worked perfectly for me in my Honda S2000.
