    Correct. With all the states that have laws about having lights on with wipers, you would think the rocket scientists at 4runner could have figured that out.

    Yes but 5th gen is like 10yrs old .. didn’t surprise me thst 2020 didn’t get it.

    With that logic, why did they upgrade the 2020 with all the new collision, sound system, etc.? Just because 5th gen doesn't mean that can't throw in a $2 switch or perform a simple programming change?
