I did my 85 about 8 years ago, had it done with the old freon and it cost me $2300.00, Just a heads up, You will likely need more than a compressor.

No conversion, just had it restored to working condition, I wanted to convert but the mechanic said it won't blow as cold.

You will need to change the oil in the compressor, the seals, and replace the receiver/drier. You will need retrofit valves for the ports. IIRC you can only charge to 80% with R134a before the seals will blow, so it will not blow as cold when stopped and idling.
