Ugh. Having spent 2K on 5 TRD wheels and 5 AT tires (so I have a matching spare), I'm loathe to go back to the OEM 20" rims and spend even more money to buy some good highway tires for them like the Defenders. But at the moment that seems to be the only way I can imagine getting rid of this shimmy and still having decent tires instead of the crappy OEM Duelers. I did not have the shimmy with the OEM setup.

That said, I'll prob bring them in for another road force balance attempt after a few hundred more miles on these ATs...

Just wait until enough people lose their jobs and can’t make the payments. This recession has to catch up with all of us sooner or later. Plus if energy costs remain the same for a long time I would guess people will start selling 4Rs and their trucks for a song.

Yes. I’m telling the, today I’m going to wait 6 months and reassess market conditions then. Or buy a new one b/c their prices are just a couple $k than some of these used ones with 20+k miles.

rising interest rates on everything especially used cars, $6+ gallon gas, recession on horizon. Used car market will cool off very soon.

Yes I think its inevitable, the interest rate hike is already impacting the real estate market. Wait it out till things get bad enough and conserve your cash.

I remember back in the 2008 time frame I think it was when gas was high and economy was in tank my buddy got a killer deal on a huge 2500 series pickup to tow his boat with. I remember kicking myself for not taking advantage of the market back then. Things are going to bust here soon and not in a good way sadly for the majority.

The fed raising interest rates is an interesting issue.

I've heard that the fed can't raise interest rates too much more because doing so will put the country in a situation where we wouldn't even be able to pay the interest on our national debt. Basically, we would bankrupt ourselves.

So instead, they say they are going to raise interest rates and hope the market reacts in a way as if interest rates are going to go up.

Supposed to be 0.75% rare hike this week and maybe another next month. That’s going to really jack up used car interest rates vs new car interest rates.
