I think Subaru ought to make Outback sleek again, like the ’06 models.

I believe roooo did some photo-chop work there to help the poor Subie out a little.

 

Other than Walter White, I don't see anyone enjoying these plastic fantastic 2026 Outback fender flares.

 

The Wilderness trim is crashed through a Pep Boys at the end of the assembly line

More cladding than a Pontiac Aztek. Of course most millennials don't know what Pontiac is, so historical ugliness is new again.

Is Subaru still using the lame CVT that gives up (cuts power) on slippery hillclimbs?

 

The youngest Millenials are almost 30 so they've definitely seen Pontiac before the end.

Subaru's got the pulley CVT's across the board save for the BRZ (manual, 6 speed auto) and WRX (manual, CVT) - Wilderness trims get you additional transmission cooling at least and lower gearing, although I don't know if that's for all three.

 

Those are rookie software. Real aerospace engineers use CorelDraw...

 

As long as you can still stream Knight Rider, future generations will know what a Pontiac is.

Meantime, the rest of us wish we could forget about Aztek’s, excessive body cladding, rental grade interiors, re-badged Daewoo’s, etc…
