    I had the Cali led bar on my tacoma and loved it!! But I am very hesitant to remove my front bumper on my 17 Pro to install the led bar. Gotta be a easier way!! I know KC Lights has one that you just remove the black piece cover inside the engine to install light. But I don’t believe it will produce enough light for me. I will just have to think about this more.

    Hey Jake - really leaning towards the bracket/light bar combo but one question arises after watching the install video: do the air deflectors for the radiator not get reinstalled after the brackets are installed?

    For the Install we take out the Wind deflectors, but you can cut around them and make them fit. Let us know if you have any other questions

    Hey Jake, Question on the wiring hook up. If you put in a Mictuning push led button. You have the four wires I know which ones connect to the Led light bar wiring. But the other wire for add a curcuit which fuse are you tapping into on the 2017 4runners. I had it tapped into my taillights on my Tacoma. But what about the 4Runner and fuse size you need. Thanks.

    I just ordered the kit with the single 32" LED bar. Looks like going that route you save about $30 from buying the bar and the mounts separate.

    I'm really not in love with the LED bar craze but I've been unable to find a streamlined, simple mounting system for 4 old skool round Hellas that doesn't basically involve getting a bumper - so I reckon I'll assimilate.

    I've ordered stuff from Caliraised before and have been pleased with them so hopefully this is a good purchase, too.

    Used my own switch, wired to acc power so the light can't be left on accidentally when the truck is off:

    @RusPro17

    Dropping a few photos here just to tie everything into one post to aid in installation help if you or anyone else opts to use their own switch instead of the pre-wired switch from Cali Raised:

    30A switch wiring, black to ground, blue to load, 3A add-a-fuse to power:

    Cali Raised switch wiring colors:

    Spot #1 is always hot, spot #2 is hot controlled by headlight switch, spot #3 is accessory switched power that comes on in key position 1. Wire to #1 if you want the light to always be able to be turned on, wire to #2 if you want the light to come on only with headlights on, wire to #3 if you want the light to come on only with ignition on:

    [IMG]

    Fusebox shown in same orientation as schematic above, Note that the add-a-fuse in position 1 is for another electrical accessory I have. I used Position 3 for the LED bar relay trigger.

    Thanks Mark,
    Appreciate the info and pics. I still plan on putting a Led bar in. Just wish you did not have to remove the front bumper. A lot easier on my Tacoma.

    It's quite easy, really. The video is pretty good but I would note they forgot one thing - there is a 10mm bolt directly in the middle / top of the grille assembly that needs to come out as well. You also do not need to remove the push pins holding the upper grille to the lower grille / bumper - just take the upper grille off with the bumper. You can do the whole thing by yourself and it takes about 15 minutes to remove, 15 to put back on. Surprisingly simple.

    If you are worried about scratching the bumper or the front of the metal fenders then having a second set of hands and a piece of carpet or a blanket to put the bumper on when you set it down is probably a good idea. Me, I beat on the truck, so a few new scratches didn't really matter!

    Love the dual light bar setup. Thinking about going that direction. As much light as I can get down range and still keeping a low profile..love it!
